How did that girl who refused to buy jeans for nearly three years in college (and even then was über late to the skinnies party) end up working for a fashion magazine like Elle? The answer, my friends, is actually my extreme dorkiness and fiery passion for never-ending inquiry, in-depth analysis, supreme truth, and basic fact-finding. aw YISSSS. Because while I am still figuring out the whims of couture, I am rather fantastic at research, and a research editor I am. Prada is yet beyond my comprehension (and budget, yikes), but facts? Yeah, I get those.
I feel it is only appropriate to celebrate my new job in the fashion industry by sharing with you my top picks for breads, brownies, cookies, pastries, cupcakes, and other foes of the svelte physique.
